  2. Très agréable séjour les pieds dans l'eau, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et sur l'Esterel

    Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement, qui situé au 4ème étage du Palais de la Plage (escalier D), du 9 au 29 août 2020. Le lieu bénéficie d'une vue absolument exceptionnelle sur la mer et sur le massif de l'Esterel. De la salle de séjour, nous avions l'impression d'être en croisière ! L'appartement donne directement sur la Plage du Midi. Il n'y a qu'une rue à traverser et c'est la baignade assurée. Tout se fait à pieds-nus et en maillot de bain. L'appartement est traversant : les chambres sont placées à l'arrière de l'immeuble, à l'abri du bruit généré par le trafic automobile de l’avenue qui borde le littoral. Elles donnent sur la voie ferrée, fréquentée par les TGV et les TER qui roulent à vitesse relativement réduite. Le double-vitrage qui équipe les fenêtres des chambres est efficace. En revanche, l'immeuble - visiblement construit dans les années 1960 - est très mal isolé de l'intérieur. A l’intérieur de l’appartement, seule la salle de séjour (exposée plein sud) est climatisée, ce qui est suffisant vu que les chambres sont situées au nord. En réalité, le seul inconvénient de cette résidence est le parking extérieur privatif dont elle est dotée. Le parking en question ne comporte pas suffisamment d’emplacements pour le nombre de véhicules qui en ont l’utilité. Du coup, c’est la règle du « premier arrivé/premier servi » qui s’applique. Lorsque le parking est complet (ce qui a été le cas pendant 95 % de notre séjour), les automobilistes garent leurs véhicules en file indienne à partir du fond, empêchant ainsi les véhicules garés « normalement » de sortir. La problématique du parking nous a amenés à revoir nos plans : nous n’avons utilisé notre véhicule qu’à trois reprises pendant nos trois semaines de vacances, ce qui peut aussi être un choix car tout se fait facilement à pied. Le marché Forville est à une douzaine de minutes de marche en passant par le Suquet (attention, ça monte), de même que la rue Meynadier.

    Отличные, стильные апартаменты, с великолепным видом! Проживали с 12 по 16 марта. Все необходимое имеется, полностью соответствует фото и однозначно стоит своих денег. Хозяева очень милые, встретили и заселили даже раньше предусмотренного времени. Все было здорово. Единственный нюанс - слышимость между этажами, но нас это особо не беспокоило. Спасибо за размещение, вернемся к вам еще!

    I have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay in Cannes - it's a short walk (5-7 mins) from the Main Street - but we preferred it, as we were able to escape the mayhem of the Croisette. The apartment is clean and very well maintained. Lauren & Jeremy are extremely quick with their responses and will answer all your questions without hesitation or delay. The views from the balcony are breath-taking, and we have no idea where else you could get such gorgeous unobstructed views of the water, for a reasonable price. You would pay 10 times more if you were to stay in a hotel. The rooms are good sizes - and the living area is so light and refreshing. Our favorite thing to do, was to wake up in the morning, have a cup of coffee on the balcony, while we watched all the passers-by. I highly recommend this place to stay in Cannes.

    This apartment was nicer than the photos - always a pleasant surprise when that happens (as you hold your breath when first walking into a rental place 😊). The decor was well done. Jeremy & Lauren were super responsive and since they were on holiday during our stay, their associate - Cassandra- was lovely to work with. She even provided a ride to catch the airport bus when we checked out. We were a family of 4 adults and were very comfortable with plenty of room. They provide a very helpful booklet on the place with local recommendations. The kitchen is well furnished with every you would need to cook in, also has dishwasher and a washing machine. The master bedroom has a nice master bath but there is no door to it - it’s just open from the bedroom (seemed awkward at first but we got used to it). The second bedroom has a room with shower and sink, and a water closet is off the common area in foyer. The foyer, living area and dining room are very spacious- and yes that view is tremendous with 3 sets of sliding doors in the main living/dining area! All those doors plus the windows in the bedrooms had electrical roll shutters which provided good blocking of light and sound since this building is on a very busy street. Also being on the 4th floor is good. There is a small elevator. The building itself feels very secure, with security measures to enter. There is some parking in the back behind the security gate as well, limited spaces but we did not have any problem parking our car. It is a very convenient location for walking to everything in Cannes. We took a day trip to Nice, about a 50 minute train ride, that was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay, and recommend these hosts!

    The place is perfectly located (1 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the harbor, 10 minutes to the Marché Forville & old town). Two large bedrooms en-suite, a large dining & living room and a striking view of the Mediterranean Sea were what we needed. Despite a 4-hour flight delay, Jérémy was there to welcome us late in the evening and made us feel at home immediately. He brought a baby cot as requested and even helped me to build it up. The entire stay (5 days) was a success thanks to our hosts Jérémy & Lauren. We will definitely come back.

    We had very high expectations of our stay and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is BY FAR the best in Cannes. The view is incredible and the local bakery opens at 6:30 every day. There is also the added benefit of on-site parking. Big thanks for a wonderful stay; would not hesitate to visit again!

    A perfect week relaxing in Cannes at this beautiful apartment. The location is incredible, just a moments walk from the beach and a range of beachside restaurants. The view from the balcony of the Mediterranean sea is truly breathtaking. The apartment is very spacious, and gave us ample room as a young family to spend together at breakfast and dinner. We definitely hope to return soon!

    This is a very spacious and airy apartment with wonderful views to the sea. The lift is very small so we had to take our pram (for twins) up in sections but it was a small price to pay for such an amazing view and location. Would definitely come back.

This was reflected when we asked for an extra hand towel.....told we would need to pay. when asked for nearest supermarkets, restaurants etc - told to map on our phones. All of these are trivial and the amazing view compensates for a lot!!!
